Lasso Example - Employees Database

Lasso enables you to add, search, update, and delete records contained in a FileMaker Pro database.

This is an example of how to use Lasso to publish a FileMaker Pro database on the web. It uses a modified version of the Employees sample database that originally shipped with FileMaker Pro 2.1v3. The Employees database has been converted for use with FileMaker Pro 3.0.

1) 'Post-Lasso' Method (generate form on-the-fly by processing through Lasso)

• Add a record to the Employees database.
• Search the Employees database.

2) 'Pre-Lasso' Method (reference static HTML page)

• Add a record to the Employees database.
• Search the Employees database.

3) Have Lasso Pre-Process a ".Lasso" File (using the "inline" tag)

• Search the Employees database.
